Merkato Restaurant serves incredible Eritrean and Ethiopian cuisine in our restaurant or for takeaway. Located on Caledonian Road, we're just along the road from King's Cross Station, Caledonian Road Station, and Granary Square. At Merkato Restaurant, we have an amazing menu that features freshly prepared Eritrean and Ethiopian dishes. We are a family-owned restaurant with warm and friendly staff who are ready to serve you. We have an incredible selection of traditional dishes available for you to enjoy. Try our Special Derek Tbsi made with fried beef, tomatoes, paprika and onion. You're also sure to love our Special Ktfo. All of our meals are served with injera - a flatbread made of either wheat or taff. Taff is gluten-free! We also have a number of fabulous vegetarian dishes including our Alcha and Fagioli.
